The Easiest Way to Top Up PayPal

Among the many payment methods and digital wallets PayPal is one of the most popular. No wonder, because PayPal is indeed one of the digital wallets used by people all over the world.

Indonesia is no exception, even though currently there are many platforms that provide similar services, PayPal still has its own users. This is due to several reasons, including security, convenience, and practicality of transferring money between countries.

Now, one of the advantages that PayPal currently has is the convenience of top up, aka adding balance. What are the ways to add to your PayPal balance? Here are some ways!

Through the PayPal Site

The first method is the easiest and most recommended by PayPal. Namely by utilizing a PayPal account directly, and the following are the steps you can take:

1. Open the PayPal site page on your cellphone or PC.
2. Access the Add Funds menu within the account.
3. Choose Bank Account if you have more than one account.
4. Enter the amount you want to add to your PayPal account.
5. Select Add.

After that you can wait until the top up process for your PayPal account is complete. Apart from that, you can also check funds on the Activity page. Then select the Related Transactions menu to estimate when the top up process will be complete.

Through the PayPal Application

This second method is basically the same as the first method, but you have to take advantage of the previous PayPal application, aka you have to install the application on your smartphone.

You can see the steps below:

1. Download the PayPal application and then open the application on your smartphone.
2. Log In to PayPal account.
3. Access the Your Balance menu in the application.
4. Select Add Money if you want to add some money to the account.
5. Select the original account and the nominal that you want to add to your PayPal account.
6. Select Next and continue by selecting Add to Your Balance.

Just like the first step, for this second step you also have to wait for the top up process to finish. To check the process you can open the Activity menu and look for related transactions in the application.

Top Up Your PayPal Balance in Other Ways

Well, there are several other ways apart from the methods we described above. Currently, there are even a number of third-party application services that you can use to top up your PayPal balance.

But unfortunately, in our opinion, currently none of these third-party services can be trusted and can be verified. For example, there are some services that require you to transfer to their platform first.

In our personal opinion, this step is not very wise. Apart from being impractical because they have to go through several payment gateways, the security of some of these PayPal balance top up services is still questionable.

Especially by requiring you to transfer first to their platform. Therefore, in conclusion, use official methods, as we explain in this article.
